It started with politics. I realized that following politics just made me angry and frustrated, and ultimately sad that there was nothing I could do. Occasionally I’d call my congress peeps or sign a petition but in the end the political machine just wore me out.
Then it was the news.
It will have been three years, in May, since Chris and I bought and moved into the Love Bungalow. It has been challenging, to say the least, to create a home on a budget.
My living quarters have always been more about functionality than design and have often been highly Spartan. I adopted a “Japanese minimalist” décor since that dovetailed nicely with being in college and having no money.
So… I did a little arts-and-crafts project yesterday at work that I wanted to share with you.
I think it went from 0-to-awesome in 15 seconds but it’s probably highly offensive. Honestly, you might want to skip this if you are easily offended and just come back on Monday.
Ok, I actually haven’t done that…in a while – so fluffy! so pretty! Tasty McTastiness!! – but I can’t say it’s never happened.
Suffice it to say that food has been a struggle, it seems like, FOR-EV-AH. (At least cocaine addicts don’t actually need coke to live.)
