Guess who was excited about starting school every year because it meant fresh and fabulous school supplies. Guess! Guess who!!
I mean new packs of paper, new pens, and new calendars, who wouldn’t love that.
Typically I’ve always preferred a standard monthly layout for a calendar so I can see everything at once but that was until I stumbled across…
THE MOST AMAZING CALENDAR EVER CONCEIVED.
I discovered the Weekdate calendar last April and was heartbroken because I would have to wait months to get my own.
But now I am ready for 2010 and have placed my order! (It’s on the way!)
Just a heads up, a la FTC notifcations, Weekdate is not compensating me in any way for this but if they wanted to send me a calendar to give away on TTi then I would TOTALLY BE OK WITH THAT.
In fact, that sounds like a pretty good idea! Should I give away a Weekdate calendar? Would you participate?

Heh, this is a pretty nifty calendar. It seems so easy to organize everything. Hope you enjoy it.

Heck yeah! I’ll sign up to win a calendar! I love organization. But could it cause me to give up my Franklin? Hmmm….
hayden tompkins says:
I totally know what you mean about the Franklin Covey calendar! That’s been my go-to calendar for years.

*swooooooon* that is beautiful…but a bit pricey to do as a giveaway! i love the concept but don’t have enough standing monthly appointments to fill it.
our school does custom planners that i love–i only use the ‘month’ pages–i like to see everything laid out or else i miss stuff if i do a weekly.
ant bought me a cool kate spade planner a few years ago but the refills are expensive so i just use my free school one.
which cover do you like best, hayden? i liked the green swirly one.
hayden tompkins says:
I would love the black one if they hadn’t put their name all over it! Let’s just say I’ll be getting my decoration on.

I wonder if they have a family oriented calendar? You probably have LOTS to keep track of!

My comment has nothing to do with the calendar but rather about your excitement when starting back to school. Somehow I wasn’t surprised!!
hayden tompkins says:
Until about high school I loved going to school. (Let’s just say I’m not a morning person. My bus came to get me at 6:30 AM!)

Wow, that is really good design.
I love good design.

I know, right? At some point you think “What else could you possibly do with a calendar?” and then you see something like that! There’s always a place for innovation.

Yes! You know I was entranced by the video back in April…was it that long ago??!!

Sorry to be the cynic here, but I’m wary of overdesign, and this calendar seems totally inflexible. Not only that, but it seems that the spiral-bound center section is susceptible to significant wear and tear over the course of a full year, and the large plastic covers could attract grime like a magnet from hand oils and dust/lint.
Wow, that was really negative. Sorry. Well, sorry-ish. If I was truly sorry I’d delete the comment instead of submitting it!

Well, that’s why I am here. I will test drive this bad boy all throughout 2010! We’ll see if it can stand up to my typical usage.

That is the most completely ROCKING calendar I have ever seen… well… on the internet. I am obsessed with daytimers and calendars and anything to get things in visual order
…
Now to see if its available anywhere around me

I got mine online and they were FAST getting it to me!

I really love the concept of that calendar. Although, I’m calendar challenged so I don’t have a use for it.
hayden tompkins says:
I love it! You’re so honest.
