I’ve been thinking about the chicken and the egg.

It is probably the first paradox we ever learn, a fledgling thought experiment.  “You can’t have an egg without a chicken, but you can’t get a chicken without an egg!”

But the-chicken-and-the-egg scenario doesn’t stay a childhood curiosity.  In fact, it is probably staring you in the face.

Ok, so this is totally personal and not blog related and I don’t actually care because I’m so excited to share this:  my mother-in-love’s cancer is in remission!

It’s still going to be a rough road but it does mean that she has more time than we originally thought and she will be able to go to Ireland next spring.  (And maybe even Alaska!)

She’s just incredible.

Wishcraft is bringing the awesome!

“Wishcraft” is the most amazing book from the most ghetto looking website.  It’s been in my “to read” folder for a while and it just never seemed appealing.  (I mean wishcraft?  What am I…6?)

For some reason, last night I just decided to read it.
