Let your dreams flourish. And tend them through intention and action. For it is through the lens of our dreams that our lives are truly lived.

A dream is a solid thing, with weight and presence in our lives.
A dream lights our path and from it hope springs forth. Dreams are a vision, an aspiration of your soul reaching into the future. Intercourse with the energy of the universe.
But a dream unmet? A mere escapist reverie. To make real the substance of our dreams – that is the challenge of living.
“You’re in the midst of a war: a battle between the limits of a crowd seeking the surrender of your dreams, and the power of your true vision to create and contribute.
It is a fight between those who will tell you what you cannot do, and that part of you that knows / and has always known / that we are more than our environment; and that a dream, backed by an unrelenting will to attain it, is truly a reality with an imminent arrival.”
-Anthony Robbins

.
We’ve touched a lot of people’s dreams through this blog.
We learned of SanityFound’s dream of escaping the horrid conditions of South Africa and abuse at the hands of one with whom she should be safe. We learned of Connie’s dream to truly celebrate her 50th birthday, not with fear and anger and regret, but joy and verve for the life yet to be lived.
We learned of Marlajayne’s determination to write a book. Kip de Moll’s passion for music. The depth of Tim’s desire to be father and husband, one with his family.
And Derek, of iWillNotDie; we learned of his desire for freedom.
This is what hope looks like. For everyone who has tried and failed, only to try again – herein lies purpose. And sometimes, living your dream means failing.
All he needs is $2 from 5,000 people. $2 for freedom. (Actually, now all he needs is $2 from 4,762.5 people.) In dreaming, in transforming your life, in looking towards the future – how have you nourished the dreams of others? And more importantly, have you allowed others to support what you have dreamt?
Dereck doesn’t know it, but he single handedly resurrected my dream. In his hour of need, could I give him any less? Unknowingly, he planted the seed all those months ago so that today – today, when he asked for help with making his dream come true – I was powerfully moved to do so.
Dream. Give. Support. And thus shall you render great works in your life.

Well since I think you have come to expect me to see something that has been missed by others….
“Intercourse with the energy of the universe.”
Are you trying to say that the energy of the universe screws with our dreams?
hayden tompkins says:
Ack! I should have seen that coming, lol.

PI, unfortunately I can not view the post related to And Derek, of iWillNotDie; we learned of his desire for freedom.. But I do know that we must always follow our dreams; and when we don’t we simply remain on the edge of a nightmare. Beautiful inpiration! Continue to follow your dreams; as you are my number one mentor! PLL, CordieB.
hayden tompkins says:
“and when we don’t we simply remain on the edge of a nightmare”
That is a phenomenal way to phrase it.
