Insiders, you know who you are!

First, and foremost, Performance Bike of Cary, has yet to let me know what is going on with the electric bike I ordered 4 weeks ago. I am on the phone with them, right now, yet I have little hope. How can I go green if they won’t cooperate?!

Secondly, I have been ‘practice’ crocheting for the hats Connie and I are making for chemotherapy patients. (Needles for noodles!) I bought the pretty blue yarn which indicated it is for babies. This stuff is so soft you could sleep on it! My husband is just tickled pink by this turn of events. He didn’t know I could actually crochet.
I guess my secret is out, really out, because he wants to send a picture to his mother. I haven’t done it since I was…well, young, but it is just like riding the Schwinn Campus I ordered from Performance Bike of Cary, except my crocheting isn’t imaginary.

Thirdly, I am taking action! (Though cautious and responsible action; this economy could take some lessons in fabulosity.) You should see my cover letter; it is inspired.
Fourthly, I am getting ready for my video debut. $23 love dollars have spoken and four of you want my smooth moves. Get ready because I am! I have to get a camera, pick a song, and pop-lock-n-drop-it. And stop eating cookies. (Seriously, I had two for breakfast.)
Fifthly, we received our uber frugal furniture for the love bungalow. So far all we have assembled is the ottoman, but I just can’t describe how fabulous this thing looks. I simply cannot wait to get the sofa and chair assembled.

There are so many personal finance bloggers who talk about how having a house is a bad finance move. Frankly, my dears, I don’t give a….hoot. I love being a homeowner!

I am sure more than 4 people wish to see you dance, they were just being frugal!
Okay, if that is the practice hat, I am in awe b/c mine are plain! Several friends and family have gone through chemotherapy this last year or so and I knitted hats for them. One friend wore a wig during the day but said her head was freezing at night. I chose a soft blue yarn (to match her eyes) and her husband even liked it. It tickles me pink that you are crocheting hats for chemo patients…it does make a difference!!!

You know several friends and family who have undergone chemotherapy this last year or so?! Wow, I am blessed to say I don’know a single one.
My oldest daughter (29) routinely lets her hair grow just over the minimum for the “Locks of Love” hair people. Her hair is thick brown and looks quite nice.

Good for her!
Actually this is to back Connie who is trying to blow the lid off her next birthday. One of the (many) amazing things she is doing is knitting 50 hats for chemotherapy patients. I think it’s awesome and wanted to support her efforts!

Dance video??? Sounds intriguing. I’m ultra impressed with you and Connie making the hats, by the way.
